Delete your account and data — Horme

In short: you can delete your Horme account and all associated data straight from the app, at any time and free of charge. You can also request it by email. Deletion is permanent.

This is an English translation of the Spanish original. If the two ever diverge, the Spanish version prevails.

  1. Open Horme and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap your profile picture on the Home tab (or go to Settings → Account).
  3. Tap “🗑 Delete account and all my data”.
  4. Confirm. Your account and your cloud data are permanently erased.

You can download a copy beforehand from Settings → Privacy and data → Export.

Deleting data without closing the account

If you do not want to delete your account but do want to erase your data, there are two routes:

  1. Data on the device: go to Settings → Privacy and data → Erase everything. This removes your profile, workouts, meals, measurements, progress photos and other locally stored data, keeping your account active.
  2. Data in the cloud: if you have syncing enabled, after erasing local data sign out without syncing again, or write to Somatryx.dev@gmail.com stating which data you want removed from the cloud. We will handle your request within a maximum of 30 days, keeping your sign-in account.

In guest mode, syncing is disabled and your data never leaves the device: “Erase everything” or uninstalling the app is enough.

Option B — Delete the account by email

Write to Somatryx.dev@gmail.com from your account's address, with the subject “Delete Horme account”. We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated data within a maximum of 30 days.

What data is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

After deleting your account, we keep no identifiable personal data. Google Firebase, as our provider, may retain technical logs and backups for limited periods under its own policy, after which they are permanently removed. We do not keep your email, your workouts or your progress once deletion is complete.
